How Does the CASA Volunteer Training Work?

Great question. Fountain County CASA Program uses a 5 week long "blended" training curriculum provided by the National CASA Association. It blends 5 online training modules with 5 in-person sessions.

The online modules are a series of activities that you complete, at your convenience, sometime during the week prior to the next in-person session. Each weekly, online module takes approximately 1-2 hours to complete. You can do an entire week's module at one sitting, or you can start and stop as many times as you like.

The in-person sessions use case studies to build on what you have learned in the online modules, as well as expose you to how CASA functions here in Fountain County.
